Boating Education:

We offer the best recreational boating education available. On the water boating lessons and free activities, basic boating classes, and advanced boating courses are available.  Go HERE for details.

  • Zebra Mussels have become a significant problem in Texas. See the growing problem and what YOU MUST do to stop their spread HERE.

  • Report any type of pollution, including boater waste dumped, in the waters of, or feeding, Galveston Bay HERE. Please collect as much of the following info as practical for your report:

    • Date & time of incident or of discovering the incident
    • Exact location (GPS, address, slip #)
    • Identifying features
    • Detailed description of incident
    • Photo documentation if possible
  • Houston Sail and Power Squadron is in Texas – Louisiana – Oklahoma District 21 of United States Power Squadrons®

  • HERE are maps showing our operating area with teaching locations plus the extent of our membership residences.

  • HERE is a map to our building in the Bellaire-Sharpstown area of Houston.

    • If you live in the southeast Houston area or further south, you may find attending events and classes at our sister squadron, the Galveston Bay Sail and Power Squadron, more convenient. You are welcome to visit and attend activities at either squadron’s facilities. Their website is HERE.
